I always loved photography, but my real 'first' interest came when my husband and I went camping in Denali National Park and found ourselves at Ansel Adams's Wonder Lake. I tried to get the same shot as his, but of course my reflection was no where near his...and I became obsessed with learning how to work my camera. For the last few years I have been teaching myself photography. I joined flickr because there are so many great photographer here who share their exposure secrets...thank you!

I love all your work, including your family and individual portraits, but as someone who has tried and failed miserably at baby portraiture, I am particularly awed by the examples you share here. Each and every one could be an image on a postcard, advertisement, calendar, or the cover of the book that I hope you eventually put together and publish.
