Hi! I'm Dan, and I'm a 27 year old guy from Tønsberg, Norway. I am happily married and have a fantastic daughter named Andrea (after her father) who lights up my life!

I’ve really fallen in love with the art of photography since summer 2009 and landscape is my true passion. Nothing else gives me that sense of peace and calmness than being on the beach alone with my camera at sunset. So quiet, just me and the nature…

So this hobby has given me many wonderful experiences!

I've been shooting with a Canon 450d and a Sigma 10-20mm for a while, but I've recently upgraded to the

Canon 5d Mark II and the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM.

It's a whole new world to work with full frame!

I love spending time browsing through photostreams on Flickr. There are lot of really talented photographers here and they are my biggest inspiration. I would never been where I am today if it wasn’t for this community.

You will probably never see a comment from me where I say “ awesome photo!”, “beautiful!” or “fantastic colours!”, and you will never get an award-of-some-kind from me.

I like to give genuine comments to photos I like and I love when people are doing the same to me. I think a good image taken by a great photographer deserves a real comment :)
