I have only just taken up photography as a hobby and bought my first camera just over a year ago, a Panasonic Lumix G2 mirror less system.
After learning some of the basic rules, settings and control's I decided to upgrade to my current and first DSLR, a Canon 60d which I truly love.
My main Interest is Astrophotography, attaching the camera to my Skywatcher ED80 pro scope to capture galaxies, nebula and the planets. This is the main reason I took up photography as there is so much to see in the night sky ( if there is no cloud cover ). again I am still new to all of this especially the processing of the pictures trying to pull out all the data captured in a stack of multiple images in photoshop,
But as the year has progressed and the lack of good cloudless nights I have found myself enjoying all types of photography from macro work to landscape, portrait and nature. If I am honest I am finding it hard to put the camera down at the moment lol
I still have a lot to learn before I can get anywhere near the quality of photos on this site and a lot more equipment to buy as I have only the basics for the time being.
processing and tweaking the photo isn't my strong point at the moment as I said before there is still a lot to learn
