Retrospective: It seems weird that I have been a member since Oct. 2004. At the time I had neither a digital camera nor a scanner to scan my film. Well well, the times they are a changin'. My primary camera is now a phone. And I have half-finished rolls of film that have bee in cameras so long I have no idea what's on them. And there are no longer any photo labs locally to develop the 120!

My favorite toy cameras are a Valiant (Diana Clone) I bought on ebay more than a decade ago now, a Great Wall (Chinese-made medium format SLR) I got from e50e, and a Yashica C I also got from ebay some time ago. My beloved VUWS (Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim, a 35mm wideangle trashcam) was a gift from the now-long-gone Mr. E.

I am also a co-admin over at the Brownie Hawkeye Flash group along with the great e50e.

Dakgirl's vintage camera photography just knocks my socks off. She is one of a handful of flickrites who have changed me, and my photography (such as it is), forever. Keep rockin' on, Dakgirl.
