I bought my first camera, a Pentax MX", at the age of 13. I've never stopped taking pictures since. I've owned Pentax, Canon and now I use Nikon cameras.

I only hope has the years have progressed, I've learned what works and what doesn't. Along the way making (and learning from my) mistakes and criticizm to make my photographs better.

Throughout the years, my photographic interests have shifted, but remained mainly with aircraft and wildlife. Now that I make my home in Colorado, I have focused on photographing as wide of range of animals as I can.

I have also started Bighorn Photography, LLC. I mainly provide services such as Outdoor Portraiture, and Stock photos such as aircraft, wildlife and nature scenes.

I recently read an artical that quoted the Sports Illustrated Photography Editor, James Colton: "For pictures to be effective they have to be affective, they have to invoke a reaction - make you laugh, make you cry, make you cringe, make you linger just a little bit longer to absorb all they have to offer."

We, as photographers should all strive for making our photos affective.
