Håkan är en synnerligen kompetent fotograf som jag haft privilegiet att lära känna lite mer än via hans publika bilder. Jättesvårt att skriva ett omdöme utan att det blir klichéartat och allmänt ytligt. Det jag gillar med Håkans fotograferande är det okomplicerade sättet bilderna blir till. Håkans sätt att dokumentera vardagliga företeelser så som en promenad med hunden, en utflykt till den lokala parken, mm, visar hans brillianta förmåga att med kameran göra bildlyrik av vardagsprosa. En annan egenskap jag uppskattar mycket hos denne unge Skånske fotograf är hans ödmjukhet och vilja att hjälpa de av oss som efterfrågar hans expertis. Han är en sann ambassadör för fotokonsten och det är en stor glädje och ett privilegium för mig att ha Håkan i min vänskapskrets.

Håkan Dahlström is a higly creative Swedish photographer. I value his photos, his photo stream on Flickr and his personal qualities. Håkan is a photographer that can make objects that some of us find mundane, look magnificent. He does that with a click on his camera, the right angle, and with perfect camera settings at exactly the right time. Not many photographers can do that, and that is what makes the photos from Håkan so special. Håkan is also proof that you don't need to travel the world around to get the best photos. Håkan is an excellent photographer and an active flickr:ite. He's an admin of my favorite group and does a great job taking care of the group. With a firm hand he guides us but still sees to it that there is room for discussion. His pictures are great and are often experimental. Håkan likes to experiment with light, angles, HDR and small details. He has a nice mix of experimental pictures and documentary pictures wich makes his photostream a joy to browse through.
