I have a degree in physics. Not being interested in eigenstates, phonons or statistics, I decided to ignore this fact and pursue my hobby of over a decade. Vast improvement over the course of 2011 makes me rather quite happy! Occasionally I do some design or codemonkeying, too.

I primarily shoot with a Canon EOS 40D and a Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC EX Macro. I use Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3 for processing, on a 17" 1920x1200px monitor and an A6 tablet. I'm based out of Newcastle upon Tyne and Kingston upon Hull, England and Greensboro, North Carolina, US. Current location is Newcastle.
