I learnt my photography in the old days on a Canon A1 while at university and taking photos for the student newspaper. I wore one out and bought a replacement. I loved its versatility. At one time I had a Bronica SQa medium format and loved the medium format but it was so costly. Eventually I bought a Canon EOS5 and this brought about some reluctance to move to digital. It was my pride and joy and I used it extensively when I was able to travel - in my previous job and pre kids and mortgage.

Hoping one day I'll have the time to scan in photos from those days.

I eventually bought a 400d but never loved it like I did the EOS5. I have now hunted down a 5d Mark II on ebay and am trying to rediscover my previous passion. It's like starting over again!

I was born and brought up in Nottinghamshire, university in South Wales and lived for some time in Cambridgeshire but have now been in Somerset for nearly 7 years.
