I'm Dabe. I grew up in Maryland, graduated from Sherwood High School, dropped out of the University of Maryland, moved out to Colorado to teach snowboarding, and then to San Diego because I heard they have a really good swing dance scene. Now I'm back on the East Coast, working on the Global Grid Exchange.

I've been into computers since my dad bought a Kaypro II in 1983. After that it was a Commodore 64, then an Amiga 500 and an Amiga 1200. In college I got into Unix and have never looked back. Now I have a Titanium G4 Powerbook, which I love.
