I shoot. Therefore, I am.

I'm an amateur photographer based in the quaint and picturesque little town of Medina, Ohio. Photography has been a passion of mine for years, an outlet of expression that allows me to communicate the world through my eyes.

Though I love taking the "perfect picture," my favorite part comes in transforming what the camera saw into what I saw and felt at the time. My work often crosses from the real to that of a painting - sometimes Hudson River Valley style, sometimes impressionist. The Italian language has a word for it - "chiaroscuro".

Quite a bit of post-processing goes into much of what I shoot because the camera is just a tool to me - the scene is my expression. I do not see what my lens does. I see differently. And I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy creating it.
