I am a graduate student in Philosophy at Brandeis University. I graduated from Montana State University with degrees in political science and philosophy. The story is the same for everyone on flickr, and it is no different for me: In the summer of 2005, I had the privilege of visiting China and some of the most cognitively and aesthetically astonishing scenes of the world. Recognizing the need and desire to document my travels, I borrowed a camera. In the beginning of 2007, I started posting photos to flickr. I have since been heavily and increasingly interested and invested in photography, constantly acquiring new techniques and methods.
