Hi, I am Daniel Lane and I was born in Anaheim, Ca., and have always lived in Southern California.

 

I have lived in Riverside, Idyllwild and more recently Lake Elsinore.

 

My grandfather introduced me to the wondrous world of photography, with a Canon A1 film camera.

 

Nowadays I shoot with a Canon EOS Rebel.

I have always enjoyed taking pictures, specifically of breaking news and life-changing events. Also weddings or other family events.

 

I travel always with my camera and tripod and can take a photo at a moment’s notice.

 

Though not exactly an outdoorsman, I do enjoy fishing and camping, always with my camera handy.

 

Idyllwild is one of my favorite places to go when I need to see nature in its most primal form.

 

My first picture was published by the Press-Enterprise, but I also contract with CBS, KCAL, The Orange County Register, The Californian, and South West Riverside News Network (SWRNN.com).

In the past three years I have taken more than 86,000 pictures, driving 75,000 miles to get all those shots.
