Been taking railway photos for over 40 years with kit ranging from a Kodak Instamatic to a Canon EOS 5D MkIV

During the 70's and 80's I concentrated on the motive power that was fast disappearing. After 1992 I virtually gave up on the UK scene until going digital in 2007. Now I'm concentrating on the photography and some of my favourite shots are of motive power I would have ignored years ago.
