Hi there,

Well let's see... Does anyone read this? Photography has been a hobby of mine for over 25 years. My interest began while I was at Sheridan College studying media arts, which included Photography. I now work behind a computer in the professional/consulting world, but I still enjoy photography, and am relatively active with it.

If you browse through my photostream you will see that I take a wide range of pictures, (nature, minimal, architecture, abstract, urban, rural) although not many of people, and not many of animals.

My personal favourites tend to be abstract and/or minimal.

Lately, (as of March 2019) I am trying to explore some new things such as taking pictures I wouldn't normally take (E.g. of people, or animals ha) but also delving further into editing my photos. I was always a bit of a purist, keeping editing to an absolute minimum. For example, I would make the ocassionnal crop or minor adjustment such as reducing the saturation, but that's it. Nowadays, I am editing almost every image, even if it's just a minor tweak to the contrast, and more often, I find myself experimenting more with editing (digital multi exposures, or removing unwanted elements (3 birds? How about 1 bird instead?), or cloning sections of an image) and having fun with that, while still retaining good taste, I think... I guess that is subjective haha.

Anyway, thank you for looking! I look forward to your comments :)

Dave
