I have always enjoyed photography, but have only been seriously interested in it since 2010. Virtually all of my photography is outdoors: wildlife, close-up (mainly insects) and landscape photography. I seek to capture the beauty of nature and of the wildlife and places that I (and hopefully others) find evocative. Many of my shots are taken in Greater London (where I live) and south-east England; and western Scotland is my favourite region for landscape photography. I also photograph wildlife in mainland Europe (e.g. Bulgaria, Hungary, Portugal), Africa (Kenya, the Gambia, Ethiopia), and South Asia (Sri Lanka and India).

I'm a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) and hold the Distinction award from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (DPAGB). I'm actively involved in club photography, and was until recently Programme Secretary of Bromley Camera Club.
