Golfers will find the Tsada and Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills Golf Club golf courses just a 10 minute drive away. This apartment is an ideal base for golfers having three major championship golf courses within such a short distance.

 

Mandria area

Cyprus is renowned for its nearly all year round sunshine, you can step back in time and visit the Amphitheatre at Kourion and wonder at the artefacts on display, you also have the fantastic mosaics there together with The House of Eustolios, or the legendary ‘birthplace of Aphrodite’.

 

The Paphos area has the finest climate on the island, cooler sea breezes in the summer and mild winters. A superb climate for golfers and sun worshippers alike.

 

Paphos town (about 5-10 mins drive down village roads or take the highway) has a lovely harbour area with many shops, bars, and tasteful dance clubs, and restaurants. Next to the harbour is the heritage centre where you can see and walk amongst ancient mosaics. It also has an Aquarium. Paphos waterpark is nearby too. A visit to the Troodos mountains is a must too -you can even go skiing in the winter months and then come back down to go sun-bathing on the beach, all in the same day as it is only 1/2 hours drive away. Better still, go on an all day jeep safari trip.

 

Here you can combine both culture and entertainment. Here you will find some of Cyprus' most stunning archaeological gems, such as it's roman mosaics and Tomb of the Kings.

Just 5 minutes drive from Mandria is the famous Aphrodites rock where you can swim in the turquoise sea and enjoy the spectacular views of the area.

  

Mandria beach totally unspoilt and peaceful is very secluded, a 10 minute stroll away. It also has a “beach taverna” serving BBQ food and all forms of drinks. The hospitality there is overwhelming. Or for the more lively, local sandy beaches scatter the coastline if water sports and diving is your thing.

 

Mandria village centre is less than two minutes walk, with 6 tavernas serving delightful food or you can order take aways. A full traditional meze is around 12 euro per person, you can guarantee you will not be hungry after that! or huge pitta n pork / chicken meals for 5 euro’s. There is local live music and entertainment through-out certain days of the week, Karaoke, quiz night and even Bingo Wednesdays at Yanni’s, but always great atmosphere and friendliness. There is also a 'coffee shop' type taverna and a bank and 2 supermarkets. Local new and second hand market at Timi on Sundays, a small market in Mandria mid week and with so much to see and do a short distance away you can spend as much time away from the sea or pool touring the Island as you wish.
