Okay, how does Cynthia NOT have a hundred testimonials? Because I know that finding her Flickr stream last year was a true highlight for me. I'm always delighted to find that she's uploaded images, and in particular I'm completely in love with her medium format work. She's one of those rare photographers who can photograph children WELL: completely natural, doing the things they do, making the expressions that they make. The trials and errors, the patience, the joy... it's all there. Her stream stands out well above the rest for its uniqueness and honestly. I'm grateful to have found her work, and I'm continuously inspired by it.

Cynthia's photostream has got to be one of my favourites on flickr at the moment. She inspires me with the way that she uses film to capture anything from portraits to still life with such a creative flair. Her work is truly lovely.

I'm obsessed with photos that tell a story. When it comes to storytelling, I tend to choose non-fiction: something simple and comforting. That how I feel about Cynthia's photos. There's something so real and reassuring in all of her photos. She stops life for a few seconds. Long enough to reveal a beauty we couldn't see before she snapped the shutter. And that's amazing.
