From time to time I stumble across a photgraphers work that awes as much as it inspires. Only the special manage both and I do have favourites in this world of imagery; those who seek to express something the rest of us don't quite see with the tools of eye, camera and software. People ask : "Your favourites?" And - invariably - I will mention Marsel Van Oosten and Dave Nitsche. To that short and reverential list I will comfortably add Cymagen. I am a huge fan of your work. Read lessIsaac thinks he's just the shit.....but he's not! He should get a camera phone like me....that's raw photography man.
you work is haunting and beautiful. truly exceptional talent you have :)
This guy is seriously inspiring. I love the lighting in his photos. Everything has a modern-day Carravagio-esque look.....is that even a word? I don't think it is.
Isaac is much more talented than he gives himself credit for. I think that somewhere deep down inside he knows, but he'll never let on. He inspires me. :)
A photographer's photographer. A bona fide Renaissance Man. You've heard of them, you've seen the phrase, you've wondered what it meant. THIS is what it means. In three words: vigorous, ambitious, intellectual.
