So what's with 'Not Ready for Primetime Stars'? Consider this: Of all the stars we can see in the night sky including supernovae, red and blue super giants, various dwarfs, and planetaries puffing out like proud peacocks in the last stages of their lives, all pale in comparison to our own star. I guess all stars serve some purpose in the universe, but ours is the only one truly 'ready for primetime'.

My home is in Lindale, Texas which has low-moderate light pollution, so I will be concentrating on narrow band imaging from there, along with trips to the desert and Grandview Campground in the Bristlecone Forrest area for the darker sky stuff. email: wa6gpn@gmail.com - Thanks for stopping by.
