I truly enjoy living year round in the San Juan mountains. Our cabin, at 9600 ft elevation, is off grid, solar powered and only accessible by snowmobile in the winter. It probably would seem too remote to many, but being everyday in the midst of such beauty has fed my desire to capture the scenery and the moments in every possible way and led me back to the pencils and brushes I had put aside for many years. I also have been very inspired by the wonderful community of artists on Flicker and thankful to the many people, in so many different places. who share their observations, their love of nature and their "journey into seeing" with others.
