Just an old man who has had his day in the sun and now relaxing; trying to take and share photos with others. If you look hard enough, you can find the beauty in everything.
My biggest joy in life is putting smiles on peoples faces.
Not much turns me off except those who continually post the same photo several days in a row trying to either amass great numbers of favs or hit the time that Explore picks them up.. They use several excuses but you catch on eventually. Just let things take their natural progression..

Rob is a wonderful friend. His comments are sincere, and he has a real interest in the people with whom he corresponds. He called me one evening out of the blue and we had such an enjoyable chat. We've talked again since, and his warmth and caring is so genuine. And then there is his photography. It is thoughtful and deliberate. It shows so well what life is like here in the midwest. He represents us well. Rob, I think I should come down and you can navigate us on a covered bridge tour. We'll have a grand time! Your Flickr friend, Tim

Rob ! My great friend. Wanted to leave a note of Thanks and appreciation for him. He always visits and comments on my shots for several months now and looking at his feedback I get inspired to do better and better. Also happy to bring joy to people like him. I draw a different inspiration from his photos, that which is unique among my whole lot of contacts and friends. Probably not all, but many of his takes just stay imprinted in my brain - farm shots, cave exploration is just amazing, the shots of some landmarks in his area. Thank You Rob.
