I came to live in Santiago Island, Cape Verde, a few months ago and have since become involved with an amazing charity, without which the street dogs in the city of Praia would have no help or hope for the future. The Bons Amigos clinic not only helps the treatment and prevention of diseases and injuries, but as a direct result of their work, fewer children will be at risk of zoonotic diseases (diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans).
