Bill Cutler b.1958- Raised in Sebastopol, California. At the age of 8, Bill was painting with an expressionist in town after school. She made painting fun by using lots of pigment and bright colors, in a semi-real style. Perfect for a boy with an obsessive-compulsive disorder. In high school Bill's work became more realistic, doing landscapes, seascapes of local scenes. After graduating from Analy, he became a hair dresser/salon owner, eventually turning the salon into his gallery/studio. Where 6 days a week he would go back and fourth from painting to client. Now working at the easel 40 plus hrs. per week and doing hair on the weekends. Bill's paintings are being collected throughout the country. Each painting can take from a week to 6 months to complete depending upon size and detail. Being self-taught and learning from books, trial and error, Bill dedicates his life to his family and the integrity of the “OLD MASTERS”.
