I took my first photo in the mid-sixties when I was 8 or 9 using my grandmother's brownie camera. In my teens I used a Kodak 126. a Olympus om-1n in 1978, soon after learning how to develop and print black and white film I was hooked. I purchased my first large format a RHS 4x5 with a 5x7 Ansco in 1992. I have been shooting with a speed graphic that was practically given to me buy a WW II cinematic photographer when he seen me shooting with an old B&J press at an airshow, he wanted to see it go to somebody who would use it, also a Yashica mat 124g. Unfortunately because of health problems it's getting harder to Lug around all that gear, I still do it not as often. in order to keep the dream alive it's now a Nikon D7000. after all it's just a tool whether it's film or digital it's all about the love of the craft.
it is October 2020 I have sad news; my medical condition has gotten to the point where I have just about had to give up photography all together. The only thing I'm doing these days is scanning my negatives into my computer it will make it easier for my family to sort out pictures when I go. I hope you all will continue to enjoy my photos. Who knows I might find some nugget in the photos I'm scanning to post.
