I just had to go and visit her photostream to express my delight...and it is one of the best things I ever did!! First of all I get so much enjoyment out of her creations...although she is often inclined to put in negative thoughts about them!!!!...and they are wonderful..to us all! Secondly..I get such a smile from the ideas..I can never wait to see what is on that day! Zalita...you are a great friend to me...thank you for so much support and care to one who has not yet posted a cuppie!! I have appreciated you including me in your cupcake artists pool simply because you knew how much I loved seeing all the beautiful work..and as a result I have so many wonderful creations to enjoy! When I first joined flickr it was Z's photos, that initially drew me to her. Then I got to know her and we quickly became friends. Not only is Zalita an incredible artist, she is also an incredible person. She is supportive of her flickr friends, which is clear in her honest, always thoughtful comments to them. She never shys away from those who seek her help and her caring, sunny personality radiates through her photos. She is a pioneer of the 'miniature decorations' with so many people now reproducing her infamous 'flip flops' and creating new miniature works of their own. However she quickly moved from flip flops to incredible works of edible art with her toadstool house, spring garden and castle in the sky cupcakes. She is so much more than a cupcake artist and I am truly blessed to have her as my friend. She is always here for me when I need her. Zalita...wife, mother, artist.........friend.
