Photography is a passion of mine. I've been an amateur photographer for many years, documenting the natural world. I am always striving to discover and learn something new in photography. Primarily I tend to photograph landscapes and nature whether I'm hiking on the Oregon coast, in the Oregon mountains, at local wildlife refuges & parks, or when camping “Out West”. I do also enjoy endeavoring in astrophotography - with and without my telescope, infrared photography, and exploring many other genres of photography.

I am captivated by the tonal qualities produced by B&W film and at one time developed and printed my own images. Though I still have my Nikon film camera it hasn't seen a lot of use recently. I do however still enjoy making B&W and infrared digital images, and will on occasion shoot and digitize film.
