Retired college Teacher, writer and avid photographer with Nikon D3000, Nikon D3300, Nikon D5100, and one Canon Rebel Film Camera, with a number of lenses with Nikon mounts, tripods, flash and cases. Truly I'm an amateur. Married to a wonderful wife; we have one adult daughter. I write poetry and make photographs. I base my life on right action, right speech, and right thought, and we attempt to live in peace. I earned four degrees, BA English, MA English, EDS higher education, MFA creative writing, and taught writing and literature for 22 years. Often I worked in retail and fast-food industries between full-time, and part-time teaching. Because I am a senior citizen, I see life realistically; I no longer expect the impossible. Some wish to die famous. When I die, I only want the balance sheet to show zero, no fame, no residual, no garbage. What I want left is my little family with memories of a good man. I want to leave behind a few good poems and a few good pictures for posterity.
