After acquiring a Panasonic Lumix in 2008, I began taking adult education classes in digital photography at Manchester Community College. Undaunted by the big SLRs around me, I challenged myself to see what others didn’t see. To get up close and personal with the details of a subject. To make people wonder. “What is that?” “Where is that?” My choice of subjects eventually became more directed to design and decay; from the curve of a bumper on a beautifully restored vintage car to the rusted hinge on a weathered barn door.
Today I still choose to carry a camera that will fit in my pocket as I clamber over guardrails, slide down embankments or perch precariously in order to get just the right shot.
My photographs have been accepted into multiple open juried shows throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and 2018, the Salmagundi Club in New York.
