Working closely within the community, we’ve been changing young people’s lives for the past 14 years by increasing their technical and life skills to build their self-confidence and instill professional working standards through our inclusive Free Film & TV Training courses that lead to paid entry-level jobs and art projects. Led by industry professionals with established links in the FILM, TV, Art & Design Industries.

Founded in 2008 by Sylvia Edwards, Creative Sparkworks became a charity in 2012. Since our inception, we have been based in the heart of our community in North Lambeth. We are focused on empowering young people who are underrepresented and facing barriers to the world of employment in the creative arts, media, Film & TV industries.

Our programs and projects respond to local needs for all ages and abilities to increase wellbeing, education, skills and employment through Media & Arts, FILM & TV.

Our mission is clear: we are striving for all young talented adults who come through our doors and are struggling to find the right opportunity and representation in the Film & TV Industry by supporting them in having a voice to increase inclusion and access to the creative workplace. We are also here to support those in our local community who are isolated and with long term health conditions through our Public Art Projects.
