I am 25 years old, and am a Molecular Biology graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I grew up in Boston, and have developed a love for photography in the last several years. Not long ago I decided I couldn't just leave all my photos to waste on a few hard drives and started posting them here, hopefully for you to enjoy.

My inspiration for much of my photography is my love of exploration and sailing. When I am at the helm of a ship, be it a small dinghy or a tall ship, that is when I am at peace. Many of my pictures are an attempt to share what I get from from the winds with the world.
