I have a beautiful daughter and a loving husband. I would say my life as of now has been great. I am 24 and following my dream. I have always loved art and love to create things. My inspirations come from momentary thoughts or random things. My medium of choice is anything and everything. I try something new for each of my works. My art has been to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. One piece I did received Gold Medal and I received a summer scholarship at Glassel in Houston for a workshop of my choice. The second piece did not make it as far but went to State in the Patriot art contest. It was disqualified for a misunderstanding of my intentions. I have also received honorable mention for one of my photos in the Southeast Texas State Fair. I would have to say I would not have had any of those accomplishments if it weren't for my high school art teacher, Mrs. Whisneant. She really has had a huge impact on my life. My goals as of now, are to one day own a Gallery/Studio where I can show my work as well as others. I will also offer classes for those who wish to learn more. Something I hope is is the not-so-distant future! I myself still have a lot to learn before I reach that.
