This flickr account exists solely to share my Hugo Weaving collection with fellow fans. Fansites and individuals wishing to copy pictures and articles are welcome to do so. I ask nothing in return but that you credit me; this collection took a lot of time, work and expense. I try myself to credit all original sources for my material, and if you repost the material, you should do the same. In return for credit (which should include proper notation of all original photographers and authors), I'll happily promote your site here and elsewhere, and add the link below. All images in my Flickr account are my scans of magazines and photographs I personally own or are screencaps I took myself from material in my personal collection unless otherwise noted.

Since many of these articles are from older newspapers and magazines, picture quality isn't optimal but I make the highest resolution scans I can for each piece of material. (Beyond a certain point an image dissolves into individual color pixels...) Apologies for less than ideal images but some of these articles are twenty years old. All scans are my own work except where noted in the individual captions; some of my friends worldwide have kindly donated a few articles, and I've salvaged rare scans from old fansites which no longer update... in all cases, the sources are credited.

I post all articles to the Hugo Weaving fan blog/newsletter Hugonuts, which I maintain in two location (see links below).

Some fansites have copied my work without seeking permission, often removing photos from their original context and failing to credit me or the original writers and photographers. The loss of proper context for the work bothers me much more than the whole personal credit issue. I am, however, good friends with the women who run Hugo@Random Scribblings and Abigail's Hugo Weaving Pictures feed on Tumblr and have given them permission to re-post scans and images from here if they choose.

Finally, all images, particularly those of digital origin, are best viewed at Original Resolution. Flickr's 2013 redesign makes proper display of larger/longer text pieces a bother and information about all scans more difficult to find. Right clicking on images will display the full range of size options, and downloads will provide the original-sized piece, which is often larger than the image displayed here.
