I'm a 26-year-old living in Boise, Idaho. I was born in Puerto Rico, grew up in Brooklyn, then moved with my then-boyfriend (now-husband) to Omaha, NE when I was about 22. After an...interesting year there, we moved to Chico, CA. We spent a year and a half there, and now we're in Boise, and are coming up on our first year here. It's not too bad!

I have been drawing all my life, although I never sought out an art-related degree or anything. For me it has always just been What I Do, no matter what else is going on. I've had hiatuses and stretches of time where, due to life's circumstances, I didn't pick up a pencil for months. But I always come back to it and will never stop!

I used to have a tablet and photoshop and definitely enjoyed doing some digital work, but I don't have the equipment any more and have returned exclusively to my favourite traditional media. I've recently been getting re-acquainted with markers, and my current goals are to become skilled with charcoal, as well as teaching myself to paint (most likely using gouache and/or watercolours). I am most comfortable with pencil, but am also very fond of doing freehand pen stuff.

In the past I used to be fond of drawing 'anthro' creatures, part-animal and part-human, because most of my friends at the time were furries. Even though I may still enjoy these subjects from time to time, I'm much more interested in branching out and moving on toward new horizons. Just wanted to put this disclaimer here. There's a stigma about the whole 'Furry' thing that I am not interested in being associated with, but I guess that doesn't change the fact that some of the work I feel proud of happens to be of that type of subject matter.

This flickr gallery is mostly my current work, but I will be adding to it as I find some of my older work from various internet art galleries I used to use.

To close this up, I apologize for the quality of some of these images. I don't have a scanner, so all of my current images were taken with my camera, which is not quite as good for this sort of thing. Please bear with me.
