I live in Poole Dorset and have always loved watching wild life and birds particularly birds of prey. I became involved with birds of prey when I met somebody who flew a hawk. I learned a lot from him. I flew a Kestrel a Common Buzzard a Merlin a Goshawk and I bred and flew Sparrow Hawks and I flew my Redtail buzzard for twenty two years. My partner flies a goshawk but I now prefer to photograph them since I injured my knee and back and had to have surgery. I also love dogs. I joined Flickr while attending a photographic course at Poole College last Spring. I really appreciate comments on my pictures as I have so much to learn and they give me encouragement. If you become a contact of mine please would you give me honest criticism on my pictures so that I can learn from them. That is if you have time.
