I grew up in Indianapolis and this is home. Not long ago I was given my first digital camera and am just starting to enjoy the immediacy of taking pictures with it. Can you say the word amateur? That's me.

For a while I became a crazy woman with a camera having taken over 700 photos on my two week trip to Ireland. LOL. Note to self...Never take that many pictures on vacation. Waaay too many to review.

I look forward to learning more about great photography and what all my camera can do. Please feel free to dole out any advice. Currently I am using an advance point and shoot with a whole host of manual settings available. Right now I am focusing on picture composition. Any help is happily accepted. I have just started the 365 challenge...of day to day things, not self-portraits. This should be a fun year.
