It's so hard to believe that at the time of this writing (late December, 2008), Vanessa and I have only known each other for 4 months. If it wasn't for a chance introduction facilitated by Jordy we may never have met and that would have been a real shame. Vanessa is a beautiful, smart, and talented woman that I am very happy to have gotten to know. She clearly pours her heart into everything she does, in her photography as well as her life outside of flickr. Not one to be content with a simple quick snap, she plans and plans her shots and the words that go with them. If you take the time to peruse her photos, you'll also quickly find out that she is a mother and an elementary school teacher and a number of her photos tug at the heartstrings when her accompanying descriptions open small windows into her triumphs and troubles on that front. Finally, I don't think she could have done a better job choosing her flickr user name. I absolutely love how creative she is and HAVE found myself addicted to her work.
