I am a designer/urban planner, born in Irvine (Ayrshire, Scotland), living in rural Clydesdale in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. My main interests are the environment, art, architecture and urban design, conservation, design, economic development, community-led regeneration, music (many types from the past 700 years) and voluntary work.

I am the Co Founder of a voluntary group of regeneration experts, established in 2011, it is called the 'The Academy of Imagineering': sites.google.com/view/the-academy-of-imagineering/home. The group is currently conducting an extensive programme of action research in Irvine, North Ayrshire. In October of 2016 I became a Director of Irvine Meadow Community Club CIC, assisting the Club's community work: sites.google.com/view/onsideirvine/home
