Living in Helsinki, I have been actively photographing since 2002 when the digi-bug bit. Having upgraded several times, I now possess a Canon 7D Mark II, 5D and some hideously expensive lenses.

Photographing birds, flowers, fungi and mammals is my thing, and I like nothing more than to spend time stealthily moving through woodlands and fields with a camera at the ready.

Most of my pictures are taken in the New Forest, Crete or the Finnish countryside, all places close to my heart and very photogenic to boot.

The only serious hide work so far was spent in Kuhmo photographing wild bear, and this remains a photographic highlight. Seeing a bear emerge silently from the forest is a magical experience.
