Daniel is one of the most talented photographers with whom I have ever had the pleasure to come into contact in 40 some odd years. I've never seen him take a technically bad photograph, and certainly never any one where the heart and soul of the subject did not completely shine through. His color work is stunning, and reflects his artistic talent as an architect clearly, but his black and white work is the stuff I like best, because it reminds me of the old fashioned Life magazine photojournalism days, when it was all about the subject and occasionally about the tonal range, with nothing else in between.
