In 2006 I quit my office job, sold all of my possessions, and moved into a '97 Chevy Cavalier with my fiance Roxy. My goal was to spend a few years wandering around the continent independently studying documentary photography. After two years Roxy and I had driven an 85,000 km lap around North America. Our lap began and ended in Moncton, New Brunswick, and took us as far north as Alaska, and as far south as Costa Rica.

My development as a photographer has been fueled by self-assigned long term projects. I'm interested in documenting life as it unfolds before my eyes, and I'm drawn to projects that give me an opportunity to create images of people immersed by a task or emotion.
