I'm here because it is fun and I like taking pictures. This doesn't imply skill or anything like that.

I'll describe my flickr stream, too...

90% of the shots here are (even in my $0.02) not very good and are around for archival purposes. Some are around to remind me of things that I liked (e.g. wine). others are around because it is often handy to have "bad examples" to learn from.

From a technical perspective, I'm trying to learn more about composition than gear. Sadly, the latter is easier to learn

because you can read about it whereas you must practice the former.
