I'm a professional photographer and owner of a portrait studio in Perth, Western Australia.

I fell in love with photography mucking around in the wet darkroom at my High School back in the 80s.

The darkroom was shut down the following year due to budget restrictions and I forgot about it for a while, and I embarked on a sensible but short lived career as a newspaper reporter instead.

I quit after a few years and studied photography full time.

I've worked professionally with technical cameras and 4x5" tranny and B+W, but don't have much call for it these days.

I'm an AIPP Master of Photography and Foto Freo workshop tutor.
