I'm a relatively recent addition to the Flickr(er) community. I have been shooting for about 2 years. Initially I was using a friend's D50 on an irregular basis. As you will know the addiction of photography soon caught hold and I purchased my current setup.

 

I use:

Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8 lens

Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro (not mine unfortunately)

2 x Compact Flash Extreme III 4 Gb cards (super fast)

Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod

Manfrotto 808RC4 head

Lowepro Dryzone 100 pack. Drop in a river, still DRY!!!

A canon flash (haha I'm a traitor)

2 x extra batteries

4ND filter

Multicoated Pro UV filter - 77mm

Cable Release (MC-36)

HyperSpace Colorspace 160Gb external hardrive with CF slot. Fantastic!!!

  

  

Do I dream about more gear? Occasionally, but I am happy with my current setup! Being a student means that there is little income to live a consumeristic lifestyle!!

 

I live in Adelaide, South Australia. Most of my shots are landscapes, because I'm a nature 'nut'!! Macro, portraits and abstract follow closely.
