The Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) brings together some 160 Regions from 25 countries in both the European Union and beyond.

Representing over 200 million people, the CPMR campaigns in favour of the balanced development of the European territory, recognising oceans and seas as key strategic pillars in the development of many areas, including industry and clean energy.

It operates both as a advisory partner to the European Institutions including the European Commission and European Parliament and a representative body in Brussels for its members.
