CPI Qualified Plan Consultants, Inc. (CPI) was incorporated in 1972 as a third party administrator for qualified employee retirement plans. Our initial focus was defined benefit plans; however, based on growth of participant contribution plans, we divested the defined benefit business in 2001 and ESOP business in 2002, shifting those resources to our defined contribution, flexible benefit, and payroll divisions. We have expanded our expertise to serve both qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans. We currently provide recordkeeping and administration services for profit sharing and money purchase plans, 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, age-weighted and new comparability plans, safe harbor 401(k) and 403(b) plans, 457(b) plans for tax exempt and governmental entities, and executive nonqualified deferred compensation plans.
