The best way for viewers to engage with my photographs is to visit my collections page. My photography is more about geography than anything else. As a result, I have organized my Flickr images into national, state, provincial, and county albums that attempt to tell a story about the architectural, historical, and physical landscapes in the places I love.

I initially came to Flickr in 2007, after viewing a number of images related to county courthouses that captivated my interests, and complemented my passion for historic architecture and geography. Hence my Flickr moniker. Over the years, my focus on historic preservation and places in general has expanded. However, I still love visiting counties and their courthouses.

With my Photostream, I have tried to build a collection of documentary photographs, as opposed to a collection of artistic images. I have posted photographs from my travels along with brief descriptions in an attempt to provide the world with more information on the structures and locations around the globe that most intrigue me. I hope that the information that I provide here will be valuable to cultural or heritage travelers.

The text that I provide with my photographs is mostly from what I have gathered from visiting these locations. This is especially true of my images from smaller communities in North America. Therefore, what I have written may not be completely correct. I try my best to provide accurate information such as construction dates and the names of architects for my images of structures and buildings. To make finding photographs easier, I try to provide geographically descriptive tags for each picture. I also geotag all of my photographs using Flickr's mapping application.

If at any time, you notice that I have erred in my descriptions or mappings, please feel free to inform me, and I will make the necessary corrections. One of my favorite things about Flickr is the ease with which users can communicate with one another. Documentary photographers can have peer review to a certain extent. I have learned so much via this medium over the years, and I am so very grateful to all of my Flickr friends.

Thank you so much for looking at my photos. I hope that you enjoy them. I truly appreciate those who take the time to peruse my collections, albums, and photographs. I have met some phenomenal individuals on flickr, and I am grateful for their presence in my life.
