I am basically just Don, born sometime in 1957 on Christmas Island, wound up permanently in Australia in 1967.

We didn't like Melbourne climate so escaped to Queensland 2 years later and have been mostly here ever since.

Tried paraplegia in 1982 but didn't really like it - it is amazing just how many places you simply can't get a wheelchair, this didn't suit me so I abandoned the wheelchair after two months and learned to walk again (It was harder second time around).

I am married with 5 daughters, like bushwalking, photography, art and waking up alive each day.

Last year (2007) I accidentally wrote a book and now life has become complicated.

Now I have about 15 unfinished paintings, a second boook half finished, people waiting for the next chapter, whilst trying to find a bublisher and live from day to day.

There aren't enough of me but I don't have time to invent cloning.
