I am a retired engineer and live in beautiful east Tennessee. I love photography and travel. My essential tools the Fuji X-T1 and X-T2 and formerly various Nikon cameras, Photoshop CC, Nik, On1, and Topaz software.

One of my photos was chosen for recognition by Ilford in 2013. As a result, they interviewed me and published an article on their blog. The post shares more information about my photographic background and continual quest to improve my skills: blog.ilford.com/interview-with-ilford-monthly-website-pho...

Special Note: My sweet husband (Traveler Jim, here on flickr) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2013. He went through extensive treatments and surgery. He fought a brave battle but ultimately lost. He died December 26, 2014. I devoted myself to his care, and I'm now grieving his absence from my life. When he died, my life died too. I am now in the process of adjusting to a solitary existence and building a new support network.
