Welcome to Cottage Studio by me, Katie Davies

There's nothing I love more than the thrill of trying out a new craft. I enjoy working in a range of craft media from print and stitch to silversmithing and engraving.

My biggest influences are nature, colour and simple design.

After studying Environmental Biology at university and developing a career as a Countryside Ranger I recently rediscovered my love of art and craft and now I do my best to bring my two interests together.

My signature 'Kaleidoscopes' collection of pinned recycled paper collages are greatly inspired by my fascination with insects and an antique frame of preserved butterflies which I inherited from my grandmother.
