Very amateur photographer.

Most of my pix are taken using a Canon Rebel XTi (400D) and a Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC Macro Lens.

I prepare and process my photographs in Adobe Lightroom for the most part but have recently been astounded by the huge number of iPhone/iPad tools that do crazy things for a dollar.

Remember: Flickr's JPEG compression and rendering is AWFUL and inconsistent. When you upload something here the original photograph is frequently over-sharpened or sometimes it may become inexplicably de-saturated and softened. This is the result of a processing algorithm that Flickr runs to compress photographs for space savings and to make variously-sized copies.

Which web browser you use can also alter the clarity of the image. I don't use PC's but if you have a Mac, Safari renders images better than Firefox. If you want to see more detail in any of my photographs, your best bet is to click the magnifying glass and make sure that you're looking at the original size.
